My funky dry twists. |
Anyway, I learned something through this experience. When I twist my hair wet and then do a twist out I get some serious definition. When I twist my hair dry and do a twist out I get little to no definition and big hair. My hair was stretched a little, but big. So, in the future now I know what kind of look to expect depending on if I twist my hair wet or dry. I'm actually thinking about trying a Bantu Knot out on dry hair because I love how big my hair got with the two strand twist out. I think that would be a great look to wear with a headband. Until next time...
Blessings!

Hmm I never tried a dry twist out. You really made it work with the cute style and flower!
ReplyDeleteIf you want big hair this is the way to go.
DeleteI've tried a Dry Twist Out. I normally get the same results that you got. I prefer the definition of Wet Twist Outs, however, I get more stretch from Dry Twists Outs. I guess either one is fine.
ReplyDeleteI do like how big my hair got with the dry twist out, but hands down the wet twist out is the bomb.
DeleteKnowing how your hair will respond to whatever you do to it is the key. Now you can add to new look to your style repertoire!
DeleteWords of wisdom! Now I want to figure out how to stretch my hair without taking forever because I want to try Bantu knots for a knot out.
DeleteBoth styles are nice. Styled wet or dry your hair is super curly. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI prefer dry twist outs because I get bigger undefined hair and no tangling. Both styles look good on you and I like how you accessorize and style your hair. Plus I can see you are perfecting your hair plaiting. Cute style you did on your niece.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Practice does help and I love wearing accessories, especially flowers.
